Last Night's Result
Michael Pineda worked out really well pitching seven innings allowing two runs and producing eight strikeouts. He had what seemed like a good matchup for him against the Tigers. Now he hasn't been good for a long time and he has a home run problem, but maybe he can stay hot and be valuable for the rest of the season.
Zach Eflin doesn't get the easiest matchup against the Red Sox. But to be honest, there aren't a lot of good options for today so we might as well look for upside. Eflin has had at least six strikeouts in each start and has had two games of eight strikeouts and one game of ten strikeouts.
