Last Night's Result

Cease met our streaming formula and pulled off a nice streaming win for us. It wasn't easy as his command continues to be an issue. He issued five walks! Cease is strictly matchup dependent. As for Kikuchi, his velocity was there and he was pitching a good game. Unfortunately, they brought him out in the sixth where he let in several runs and lead us to a streaming loss.

The Pick

David Peterson (Petey) has been a pleasant surprise this season. When the Mets called him up I didn't expect much but he has induced a ton of weak contact. I am slightly afraid of the fastball command but we will see what happens with that. He draws the Marlins who have had a ton of time off and who have a weakened lineup. I'll take Peterson pitching at home versus this lineup as my streaming pick for the day.
