Last Night's Result
Danny Duffy put up an interesting line last night. He let up four runs in five innings which isn't the best. But he did end up with eight strikeouts and a sub-one WHIP against the free-swinging Tigers. This was a tough call on whether it should be a win or loss. He gave you everything but a mediocre ERA. I AM TAKING THE WIN.
We are staying in Detroit with the Royals new lovable pitcher Brady Singer. His slider looked great and he produced a ton of weak contact in his first start. He was everything we thought he would be. The Tigers have been swinging a ton and I think this is a good matchup because of Singer's capability to induce weak contact.
Ranking All Streamers For 7/30
1) Brady Singer
2) Kevin Gausman
3) Marco Gonzales
4) Erick Fedde
5) John Means
6) Ivan Nove
7) Martin Perez
Analysis: Kevin Gausman made some interesting changes at the end of last year and becomes an intriguing option while pitching at home. The Padres have been hot though thus forcing me to stay away. John Means draws a tough matchup with the Yankees but I would keep an eye on him and his velocity since he was experiencing dead arm.
