Streamer Pick 7/28

Last Night's Result

Last night we had Chris Bassitt who looked pretty impressive. In the first inning, he got Trout swinging with a really great looking curveball. Bassitt got into trouble in the fourth inning but was lucky enough to pull off a double play. Thus the Athletics seemed to think he was gassed and he got pulled in the fifth inning after giving up zero runs and providing five strikeouts. Record 0-5.

The Pick

Well with everything going on with the Marlins we miss out on the Pablo Lopez start we really wanted. I was also going to take Elieser Hernandez but with all the risk surrounding the Marlins, we are going to take Josh Lindblom. Although he is on the road he gets a slightly mediocre Pirates offense. Lindblom has some solid stuff and I personally see him as a Miles Mikolas. We are also going to do a little 360 here and pick a second option in Kyle Gibson. Two great breaking balls and is at home against one of the weaker offenses so far this season. The Diamondbacks are ranked 27th in wRC+! Below both the Giants and Tigers.
