Streamer Pick 7/26

Last Night's Result

Corbin Burnes finished after pitching just 3.1 innings while giving up one earned run and producing six strikeouts. Burnes looked wild in the first two innings but then seemed to have settled down in the third. His stuff is so electric and the movement on his slider and fastball can make you giddy. If you own him, I would hold for now.

The Pick

Vince Velasquez was beyond frustrating last year. I am pretty confident last year I streamed him in a really good matchup and he gave up like seven runs. Good times. But this year is different! Velasquez seems to have a new changeup that looks straight up filthy. He draws the Miami Marlins, who I think can be scrappy but Velasquez should be able to handle them. Check out this changeup.

Ranking All Streamers For 7/26

1) Vince Velasquez

2) Garrett Richards

3) Freddy Peralta

4) Spencer Turnbull

5) Jose Urena

6) Sean Newcomb

7) Ryan Weber

8) Yusei Kikuchi

9) Rick Porcello

10) Kyle Freeland

11) Tyler Chatwood

12) Wade LeBlanc

13) Tom Hatch

Analysis: There are a ton of choices here! Richards is very intriguing as we all know he has the stuff it is just a matter of him getting healthy. Peralta apparently has a new pitch that we get to see today. If he clicks he can easily put up double-digit strikeouts. The man I have been touting finally takes the mound! Spencer Turnbull! Not the best matchup but I can't wait to see how that slider and curveball turn out.
