Morning Read: Glen Otto threw a heck of a game against the Houston Astros last night. In five innings he allowed just two hits while striking out seven. The slider was working really well as it induced eight whiffs and totaled for a 50 CSW%. His four-seam averaged 99.3 MPH, yes 99.3 MPH. The sliders look fantastic and the fastball can obviously be dangerous. I do think he still needs a third pitch but he is a great speculation add in all leagues. Hopefully the Rangers keep him up.
Today's Streamer: For today's pick we are going with Nestor Crotes Jr. he has been on a roll lately and I think it's time we should join him. He plays with his arm angles and messes with his delivery timing just like Johnny Cueto, this has lead him to a 21.1 K-BB% in his last three starts as well as a 3.79 SIERA on the season.
Shallow League Option: Nestor Cortes Jr.
Deep League Option: Daniel Lynch edged out Steven Brault here because I decided to go with a little upside. Lynch has performed well at home and has had a solid ERA as of late. Sure there is some luck involved but I think he should fare well against Seattle.
Looking For Strikeouts: Nestor Cortes Jr, Daniel Lynch, and Jon Gray.
Looking For Quality Starts: Nestor Cortes Jr, Daniel Lynch, and Tyler Anderson.
Looking For Wins: Nestor Cortes Jr, Daniel Lynch, and David Price.
Looking For Ratios: Nestor Cortes Jr, Daniel Lynch, David Price, Tyler Anderson, Adrian Houser, and Steven Brault.
Tomorrow's Streamers: Tanner Houck and Daniel Lynch.
The Day After: Bailey Ober.
