Streamer Of The Day 6/8

Morning Read: A lot of people were excited for Jackson Kowar last night and unfortunately he disappointed. He lasted just 0.2 innings while allowing four earned runs on three hits and two walks. His problem was command, he left a lot of pitches in the middle of the zone and a lot of pitches in the wasteland region. Wasteland means way out of the zone where there is no chance you get a hitter to chase. I have mentioned it in the past and want to mention it here again. In my experience rookie pitchers are not a good option for streaming in their first start. Most of the time, it won't end well.

Today's Streamer: The weather is warmer and offenses are really starting to heat up, which is a problem for us. We are going to have to figure out a way to navigate through this and just trust the process. Today is a tough day to pick and I am going to go with Antonio Senzatela. Risky I know. He draws the Marlins who we all know don't have the toughest lineup. But mainly, I am going to ride the hot hand here. In his last four starts, he has a 2.28 ERA, 3.27 FIP, and 1.14 WHIP. Let's roll!

Shallow League Option: Matt Boyd gets a matchup with the Seattle Mariners, which makes a lot of sense. Boyd can grab a ton of strikeouts and the Mariners have a 16.4% SwStr% in the last seven days.

Deep League Option: Antonio Senzatela.

Looking For Strikeouts: Matt Boyd and Drew Smyly.

Looking For Quality Starts: Matt Boyd and Antonio Senzatela.

Looking For Wins: Matt Boyd and Carlos Martinez.

Looking For Ratios: Matt Boyd and Antonio Senzatela.

Tomorrow's Streamers: Austin Gomber (streamer of the week) and Chris Flexen.

The Day After: J.A. Happ.
