Streamer Of The Day 6/15

Morning Read: After recently talking down Vladimir Gutierrez in a live stream and in an article he went out and threw six innings with only two earned runs and six strikeouts. My issue with him is the lack of overpowering stuff and the walks. He constantly lets hitters on base and I am afraid he will start letting up home runs which could lead to a disaster start. As for lack of overpowering stuff, last night he only had a 27 CSW% with the curveball getting zero whiffs. Maybe I am just too hard on the kid?

Today's Streamer: Mike Minor! We talked about him in length on a morning live stream which you can find here. He started to move away from the slider and use his changeup more which has brought in much better results. With that said he faces the Detroit Tigers. Their offense can catch fire at times but right now their wRC+ and OPS have been dropping steadily. Include their tendency to swing and miss and we have a good stream option for today.

Shallow League Option: Mike Minor.

Deep League Option: If Mike Minor is owned then Tyler Anderson becomes your choice. I am slightly worried because Anderson is typically better at home but the Nationals have been a bad offense for a while now. Something that is pretty surprising. But they continue to struggle in virtually every offensive category and we can try to take advantage of that.

Looking For Strikeouts: Mike Minor, Shane McClanahan, and J.A. Happ.

Looking For Quality Starts: Mike Minor and Tyler Anderson.

Looking For Wins: J.A. Happ.

Looking For Ratios: Mike Minor, Tyler Anderson, and Tucker Davidson.

Tomorrow's Streamers: Tarik Skubal and Bailey Ober (maybe)

The Day After: Wade Miley and Caleb Smith.
