Morning Read: While it might not seem like it, Ryan Yarbrough has been pitching well as of late. Now he isn't getting the strikeouts you'd want but in his last six appearances, he has pitched 31 innings with a 3.48 ERA. Yesterday the Rays decided to let him go six innings against Toronto and he produced his second quality start in a row. The cutter and changeup paired beautifully and hopefully, he can keep this going.
Today's Streamer: For today we will be rolling out Tarik Skubal. Skubal has been pitching much better as of late by walking fewer hitters and striking them out more as well. So far this season he has a 4.09 ERA at home and draws a Cleveland offense that isn't very explosive. We are going to ride the hot hand and see how it plays out.
Shallow League Option: Cole Irvin has been masterful this season and he gets the Seattle Mariners. Always stream against the Mariners when possible! Irvin should be able to paint the corners and keep their hitters on their toes. I expect a good amount of strikeouts and really solid performance.
Deep League Option: Tarik Skubal.
