Streamer Of The Day 5/23

Morning Read: Adbert Alzolay gave us a nice streaming win by pitching seven innings while allowing two earned runs and striking out six. He did so by continuing to throw his slider over 40% of the time. This start he actually threw it 55% of the time! It induced eight whiffs and nine called strikes. I really like what he is doing this season and if you did stream him I truly think you need to keep holding.

Today's Streamer: Casey Mize! My boy! This man right here keeps rocking a pitch mix change and it is working so well. He has been smooth like butta. Working that four-seam up high, the sinker on the inside, then mixing in that breaking ball. Oh, baby! The Royals have been no-hit and truly are that boom and bust offense. Mize is a great pick for today.

Shallow League Option: Casey Mize.

Deep League Option: I am super tempted to go with Cody Poteet with that Mets lineup but I try to lean away from rookies because they can be rather unpredictable. With that said we are going to go with J.A. Happ. Happ has definitely been shaky but he draws the Indians who as of late and all season have been bad against left-handed pitchers.

Looking For Strikeouts: Casey Mize.
