Morning Read: Last night against the Royals Casey Mize pitched six innings allowing only two runs while producing four strikeouts. In his last three starts, he has faced the Royals, Red Sox, and White Sox. All solid offenses. In those starts, he has a combined 3.00 ERA and 3.49 FIP. Mize has an above-average four-seam fastball and he marries it with a sinker and slider. He won't get you a ton of whiffs but he does induce a lot of ground balls. He is becoming a very interesting and solid option.
Today's Streamer: Today is kind of a tricky streaming day. You have a bunch of "decent" pitchers taking on struggling offenses and some better pitchers taking on some challenging offenses. With that said we are going with Spencer Turnbull against the Royals. The Royals have been struggling to get on base and haven't had any patience at the plate. Turnbull does have a decent floor and he pitches well at home so hopefully, that surprisingly deep arsenal gives us a solid outing.
