Morning Read: How about this man they call JT Brubaker? On the season he has a 2.01 ERA with a 4.13 FIP and 19.8 K-BB%. Most notably though, is his WHIP of 0.94! Last night he took on the Twins and once again went slider heavy. LOVE IT. GIVE ME ALL OF IT. His slider induced eight whiffs and five called strikes leading to a 42% CSW rate. Brubaker is exciting, especially since you can tell he is trying to push that four-seam up in the zone. My worry is his four-seam/sinker command though. He does miss over the plate from time to time, so that's something to monitor moving forward. If you have him, be happy. If not, grab him.
Today's Streamer: This is the second time we are rolling with Adbert Alzolay and hopefully this turns out a little better. Wind doesn't seem to be a factor in Chicago as he takes on the Milwaukee Brewers. Alzolay is known for his swing and miss stuff and the Brewers have a 14.6 SwStr% in the last 14 days as well as a 28.0 K% against RHP. As long as his command shows up this should be a good start.
Shallow League Option: Ryan Yarbrough gets Toronto at home and will come into the game after Brent Honeywell Jr. He will take on the Blue Jays who have been struggling as of late with a 62 wRC+ and 0.577 OPS in the last seven days.
Deep League Option: Adbert Alzolay.
Looking For Strikeouts: Adbert Alzolay.
