Streamer Of The Day 4/21

Morning Read: Let's talk Luis Garcia. Garcia pitched in Coors Field and produced a line of 5.2 innings pitched with two earned runs and six strikeouts. He looked pretty damn good. The four-seam had nine called strikes and finished with a 30.0 CSW%. Most importantly the slider had five whiffs and only an average exit velocity of 62.1 MPH. He also threw in his changeup and cutter. The changeup has good velocity separation and the cutter had four whiffs even though he only threw it eight times. I like the deep arsenal and how he was able to keep the hard contact rate down. If he makes the rotation full time he could be a solid add.

Today's Streamer: Tyler Anderson actually holds an above-average SwStr% and K-BB% so far this season. He hops on a plane to Detroit today and faces an offense that has been struggling all season. But most importantly, they have not been able to hit left-handed pitching with a crazy low 42 wRC+ on the year.
