7 game slate 7:05 PM
$3 contest tonight, 20 spots!
Weather: Not much wind aside from Atlanta which is blowing out to left. Keep an eye on Baltimore/Seattle for a potential rainout, I may play it safe and stay away from this one entirely despite a Harvey/Dunn matchup.
Pitching: How is Wheeler only the 5th most expensive arm today? Morton's price seems crazy low for a start against the Marlins, he'll likely find his way into a ton of lineups (beware the wind!). Fleming is going to be the bulk guy for Tampa - at $600 more than Morton! Gray is intriguing, maybe he keeps it rolling against LAD again. Guessing Neidert will be a big stack target, Braves are hot and he lost command as his last start went on. Fulmer looked good against Cleveland if you're feeling lucky, might rather roll the dice with him than the few options just above him.
Catcher: d'Arnaud and Zunino are only the 6/7th most expensive catchers despite great matchups. Jose Trevino has been batting 5th for Texas, and is a bargain against Fleming at $3,100. Ramos may be the hottest catcher in the league, should be low owned facing McCullers.
First Base: Freeman and Hoskins (hit Peterson hard earlier this season) seem like the obvious top picks here, but you'll have to pay up. Might look to get one of Tampa's 1B eligible guys (Brosseau/Yandy) against Arihara in what could be a high scoring game. Renato Nunez is hot and cheap if you like a contrarian play here.
Second Base: As far as the chalk goes, I'd rather have Albies for $4,700 than Altuve for $5,800, both are hot. Lux is a sneaky cheap option if you think Gray falls back to earth. Solak is a cheap play near the middle of the Texas order.
Shortstop: I like Wendle but seems a little steep here. Swanson looks like a steal as the 11th most expensive SS. Not an ideal matchup but Lindor is enticingly cheap. Kiner-Falefa could still be a good value at $4,200 while leading off.
Third Base: May was hit a bit hard by lefties last season, wish McMahon was cheaper. Bohm is only 4k against the lefty Peterson. Seager is red hot facing Harvey, depends on your risk tolerance with the rain.
Outfield: Blackmon same thoughts as McMahon. Alvarez and Tucker aren't very expensive at all facing Fulmer. Gallo has shown he can hit lefties (should mention Harper too), he's a steal at $3,700 (0-4 incoming). Ozuna is only $4,200 could be a good way to get your hands on a Brave without paying up for Acuna ($6,100!). Mullins is very interesting but see Seager above. Tapia could be a nice sleeper at 3k and should bat at or near the top of the lineup.
